The tone deaf "bollywood" inspired flop "Basmati Blues" started its troubled production in 2013, before its star Brie Larson won an academy award, and still had to do bad movies like this. It follows her as a young, beautiful white scientist who saves India, while also finding love.
This movie received backlash as soon as the first trailer came out, and is definitely a tone-deaf flop that I'm sure that Brie Larson regrets starring in / ever allowing to be finished. Which is why we HAVE to break it down!
